My New Car

I'd had enough of driving my shockingly poorly built Peugeot 206, so I gave that to my partner to break

So, to replace it, I bought a 2003 Honda Civic Type-R (EP3).

Doesn't kick as hard as an EK9 and isn't as rare as a DC2 or DC5 over here by any means, but I can fit my dogs in the boot and it can still bloody shift! The handling is superb, it's a b-road assassin and I've yet to try and find its true limits.

The VTEC is awesome, although in terms of fuel when VTEC kicks in it's like throwing a bag of money out the window!

It's a total drivers car, I can't really fault it bar the breaks. When breaking from high speed they can feel unresponsive and I've had a bit of brake fade too.

(mines the far right)

That pano is from a park and show event I attended, you can view all the pics here.

that's how i felt about my civic.. i was looking at my fuel gauge like "hey, what's going on?!" whenever i'd drive it for a while, but then i remembered i usually drive around at a bit above 5500 revs.. that car'll be pooping out wallets forever.. stay away from trucks too...
