How Fast is your Computer....
Hmmm... No Mac- users around ?
Well OK then. Here' s one for a little change  Main workhorse ( and still very fast ) Power Mac G4 Quicksilver year: 2002 Number Of CPUs: 1 CPU Speed: 800 MHz L2 Cache (per CPU): 256 KB Memory: 512 MB Bus Speed: 133 MHz VRAM (Total): 32 MB ATI Radeon 7500 HD: IBM - ATA 7200rpm, 40Gb Backup- machine ( but pretty quick and usable too ) Power Mac G3 desktop year: 1998 CPU type: PPC740/750(G3) Number Of CPUs: 1 CPU Speed: 300 MHz L2 Cache (per CPU): 1 Mb Memory: 160 MB Bus Speed: 66 MHz VRAM (Total): 6 MB HD: Quantum Fireball - ATA 7200rpm, 6Gb btw, don' t be fooled by the CPU- speed. Mac' s are differently measured than Intel or AMD' s... Have fun, Peter |

You don't get any sort of cooling benefits from cutting the case up like that. The best cooling is obtained from sealing up all the holes except where there are fans.
