I was really suprised when I saw this on the news today. His career was really starting to take off, especially since he plays joker in the new Batman movie, The Dark Knight. He had a really bright future ahead of him. Just really sad news.

Indeed sad and its even sadder seeing that his 2 year old daughter has no father. I heard on the news that he died at 3.30pm and he had an appointment with a person who gives him a message at that same time so maybe it wasn't a drug overdose.

Yep heard about this yesterday...it seems like there's a rash of celebrities dead at the start of each year for some reason...which is tragic also.
No sequel to Broke Back Mountain...
