As you al know i've got a huge collection of prints (and it's growing by the day).
I would like to make a list of all filenames, maps and put them in a word document or in excel.
it's almost impossible to type all of that so i'm looking for a program who can read the filenames and make a useble document..
who knows a nice program for that??

Well, i can't name any program for that, but you might try making screenshots (open your map, with all the blueprints in it and make a screenshot. Then scroll down and take another, etc. That way you can show us all names of your blueprints). Maybe the result isn't exactly what you want, but i think all help is welcome !

I've written a small program that lists filenames into a textfil with a # as a separator.

I've been studying computer engineering at the univeristy for the past 5 years now so programming is my thing :wink:

I've done a small game that is a clone of the great "Sqaurez" game. but I've been thinking about doing some OpenGL programming too like amodel viewer or something.

That's nice . Maybe your games' something for my mom, she's addicted to those type of games lol :wink: .

There're freeware programs that work like file manager used to in Win 3x, that is they don't give you a thumbnail, just a list of filenames in a directory, plus the file extensions if you want them, of course. If all of your bps are in the one folder and the names are representative, it's an easy cut'n'paste to wordpad, put a comma, or space or some other delineator between the names, save as text, then change the file extension of the wordpad file to .csv, you can then import the .csv into excel.
I got PhotoImpact 6 as a freebie from a mag CD which came with PhotoImpact Album. I'm an impatient bloke and I haven't been able to come to grips with picture manager apps before, but this PI album is a beauty, easy to work with and navigate. Whenever I rustle up a new bp, I just slip it into the album which holds links to all of my bps, with thumbnails. Nice and simple for a KISS-oriented fella like me.
