What's your favorite foreign food?

A random question, yes ... But what is your opinion?

I'm in the USA, so my favorite foreign food would probably be Thai food. I went to a place that had some Mutton Noodle dish of some sort... man I wish I could have that again.

And a close second is Texas-Mexican cuisine. Things like Enchiladas and Tamales are very hard to beat.

Pizza *food-gasms*

Nothin' beats it I'm not talking about gourmet pizzas, I'm talking about American gease-filled monsters that are the food-equivelant of a heart-attack.

Yankees really know how to make awesome food!!

I'm from France, and I'm pretty happy with our traditionnal food : boeuf bourguignon, choucroute, and so on. Some well know things like foie gras and champagne are must-have, of course, but it would be cliché to mention only them.

But for foreign food, indian is also a must-have. In my previous location, I was pretty lucky to have a restaurant about 50m away, they were really top notch.

i'm with tom on this one. french food is quasi-local for me so it doesn't count and i'm a sucker for indian food.
