same could be said towards just about all racing... oh, it's just a bunch of cars going around a track.
Nascar isn't any lower of a racing form than others, they just focus mostly on strategy and making sure they have the car best-suited for the track. If you like drafting, and having positioning be highly dependant on how well the pit crew performs, rather than how well they negotiate the cornering, nascar could be entertaining. They do have some curvey courses as well... but yeah.
I mean, people may not like certain types of road/circuit racing because it depends so much on the driver, rather than the car, and cars that are supposed to be good could be beaten out by a much lesser car, if the person doesn't know what they're doing. I mean, my friend has seen corvettes lose out to mx-5 miatas of all things. I for one find that entertaining, but some might rather watch something that better shows what the car is capable of.
