They can't fly (anymore). The evolution wanted them to fly underwater indeed.. They catch fish underwater, so they lost their ability to fly above water. And what do they need it for anyway? Birds fly because they eat insects, but there are no insects in icecold snowstorms :?
So no, they can't fly.

Yeah, but what if they migrated to Egypt, there's lots of bugs and insects there, so they could fly, and its not to cold for them there. Its not their fault that their wings are frozen solid in Antarctica. :lol:

It's in bumblebee's DNA to NOT fly, but they've evolved to use their wings anyway.
