ATI vs. Nvidia

Right now NVidia has a slightly better performing card, but I'm more than sure that that will change come the new gen of cards.

Radeon 9800XT & 9800 Pro haves won every gfx card comparasion tests so far. :wink:

You mean the nvidia 6800 ultra? What a power-sucking inefficient hairdryer that is. It's slow, and it even overheats with that giant heatsink it has that takes up two PCI slots. Go nvidia. :?

Atleast the heatsink actually stays ATTACHED to the card, unlike the "superb quality" of ATI cards. :roll:

Mine stays on just fine, thank you. It's not loud either. While I will admit that ATI's stock cooling isn't the best, it's fine for most people, and it's certainly not going to come off, unless you removed it.

i also have to add...playing splinter cell: pandora tomorrow with my ati 9800XT is just F*CKING GNARLY...it doesnt get much better IMO
