ATI vs. Nvidia

There is a video card war out there and a I wanted to know who you guys think will win this war. ATI hands down. X800XT rock0rz and the 6800 Bigmoma needs a 480 watt PSU.

To tell you the truth, I like them both, I've just been using nvidia for a long time. They are both extremely good vid cards. There are certain advantages that each have over the other too.

To narrow it down, it mostly depends on what games you're playing; I play mostly OpenGL games, so, of course, I went with NVidia; though there's a ton of D3D-based games, and that's where ATI accels over NVidia.

Can't really go wrong with either manufacturer, but I chose NVidia because it's what I currently have.

Btw, the new ATI X800XT is far less better than the 6800 from Nvidia, search for some tests, the 6800 is far more better @ high res

ATI hands down...and SZ i looked at at least 30 diff. test and the overall outcome said the 2 cards are very different yet almost the same performance wise. i dunno if that makes sense cuz it doesnt to me but thats the best i could put it lol...

ATI hehe, however I must admit I'm biased since Ive never owned a Nvida, well wait there was this laptop I got free to use during college semester, but no wayt to judge. I'll just stay with ATI, Ive had a total of 2 ATI cards.

ya, i had the Geforce 4 also, and i agree it did suck, because it just did, it was a cheaper card, if u get the higher proformance Nvidia cards, like the GeForce FX 5950 (which is what i have now) and its amazing, so i have to say that Nvidia is better than ATI
