i used my normal digicam "Kodak EasyShare DX6440". while holding the digicam quite still and rotating around yourself you make overlapping photos. (my girlfriend hates it see me doing this :-) ) but a stand (?) is way better :-) than its time to modify (trimm, stitch, blending, align) the pics in lets say Photoshop. but there are some good programs helping you on this too.
