Hi,

First of all thanks to all for this excellent forum, i used the blueprints for the car and the rims i found on this site.

As this is my first car there are still things missing (interior mostly).

But i have a real problem with my rear lights, they look awful, can anyone point me in the right direction on how to make them look convincing ?

Other crits and comments are also welcome.

well cant give much help on rear taillights but the car looks pretty good for your first car. Is it just the tailights and interior your not done with? If not probably get more feedback in WIP forum.

Hi,

I thought of that, but i don't think i will model the interior at all for this one, i plan to use this car in architectural visualisations and i am affraid it will have to many faces, there are allready more than 400.000 in there.

i like the paint of the car. can u give it to me... i'm doing a alfa romeo, and this color may fit in my car... and i'm a noob in 3dmax

The paint is a vray material and is useless without it, but its a shellac material with a fresnel falloff in the reflection slot for the base material, color set to black. The shellac color is the color you want to make the car.

I know there are some materials in this forum that can be used with max, just search a little, there is a lot of stuff here for us to find.

nice model and render, but I dont like backilghts - too much flat (texture right?) try to model it as The Rain Knight on his Renault Megane and you can a bit remodell front lights, I dunno why but I dont like your frontlights too but all other is nice
