This is something I made way back in 2002 (I think). The "blueprints" for the thing were actually found on SMC.

Another fine tribute to them American Classics

One question, is the second color on the bodyshell a separate object or is textured?

The mesh was split into a number of parts, each part got it's own texture. But all the vertices of the triangles on the border between different textured parts share the same points.

The Duesenberg Brothers were German-born but the car was made in USA.
The finest in its time.
