Re: Honda Civic coupe 92-95
Looks nice and clean, but
1st- your chrome material looks strange... work on it 2nd- the scene doesn't loog good for me... Work on the materials (this red and white looks ugly for me) and try to build better scene... 3rd- i like this honda very much but You do it to height in comparision to narrow (hope U understood my crazy english ) The bumpers (too big for me) disturbs the proportions of the car...Anyway it's nice job, especially in modelling. Oh, and tail-light materials looks strange too... ![]() C4D 8.5XL |

Re: Honda Civic coupe 92-95
I use Light Wave 8.0, my greatest problem is that i have very slow comp and my renderings lasts forever, thats why im not tweek my materials so often, i tweek it mental, little more reflection here, little less something there...
btw. im from Croatia and my engish is not too well so i hope you understend it ![]() |

Re: Honda Civic coupe 92-95
Don't worry- I'm Polish and my English is not so good as I want too...
![]() Heh- about comp- I know what You're talk about- I had a Duron 850 with 300 RAM and 32RAM on Graphic Card and rendering was killing me. But if You have a good, smooth wire even slowest comps will gonna take it... Now I have P4 3Ghz and when I want to render something complicated and nice textured it's overheating... lol ![]() I just love computers... ![]() ![]() C4D 8.5XL |

Re: Honda Civic coupe 92-95
Do not complicate Your wireframe. If You want to do something complicated think about do it from more parts.
Below You can see the link to my render made on my old comp: Duron 850, 312 RAM, GeForce MX2 32MB. Rendering takes something about 25-35 minuts(those red one for example). I can say thats low poly- but when I using HyperNurbs (smoothing) the polycount is growing. http://www.smcars.net/forums/index.php?topic=16559.30 (second page) Polycount without HyperNurbs: Points: 27328 Polygons: 23553 Objects: 918 Polycount with HyperNurbs: Points: 939579 Polygons: 820826 Objects: 918 But I use a Cinema4D which I heard that it have a good renderer even for slowest computers. ![]() C4D 8.5XL |

Re: Honda Civic coupe 92-95
25-30 min's with radiosity? thats fast, i render my Civic about 4-5 hours, each picture. Do you have some advice about lights, you can see that i dont have specular, thats missing in car shine.
Your renderings are not bad, thats Uffizi right, i hate that HDRi , maybe little too dark but good anyway |
