rendering could be better though ... with some more defined shadows around the wheels and under the car.

Thanks, it was made in 3dsmax. The shadows aren't very dark, but I cannot be bothered re re rendering. It is lit by a skylight, and a spotlight, and the spotlight is facing the way of the camera, so it takes the shadows away a bit. What can you do?

I like to do cars with polymodelling because I feel it gives the best control ... works well for borth high and low-poly.
