The front part of the texture is roughly 1800x1800 and the rear part (i.e. from the doors and back) about 3000x1800. Most of the decals are redrawn using vector graphics, couldnt fint big enough logos online, and most of them has changed since 1991 too ..
(the whole projectcatalog contains 409 files and 908MB)

Nope.
1. Its too highpoly to use in any game, ~2 500 000 polys when rendering
2. Its taken me many many hours to make it, so Im not gonna give it away

The though has corssed my mind, at least to make a "post race" version. But I need to take some rest from this model for a while now. Might return and realize your ideas, you never know.

The setup is very basic actually
Heres a screendump of it
The scene is only lit by skylight, direct illumination only. The two omni light only have speccular turned on so they can bring out some highlights in the carpaint. The carpaint has 200specc/50gloss and a slighty lighter falloff than the main color.
Skylight is puire white, No HDRI. The only place HDRI is used is in the chrome material (in the environment slot of that material).
The big white box above the car is only for reflections not illumination.
This gives a render time of ~30-45 minutes for 1600x1200. Postproduction in done in photoshop adjusting brightness/contrat/colorlevels/sharpness/soft highlights/noise etc.
Cheerio ...
