wow that is awesome! congrats on this one it looks great!

the whole thin things like rearviewmirrors and rims look very fragile to me... how would you want to sand something like that? is it even done?

I don't know how it works, but it works

As I said, there are many layers. Each layer is sintered individually. Then there's a new layer and so on. It's more stably than it looks like, but of course I don't want to test the stability

btw. nice signature

looks awsome, maybe going to a hobby store to buy metalic paints to make it look even more real!

Was it cut by a cnc machine?

it looks great! I always wanted to 3D print my cars! I made one of my 3D cars out of styrodur. you can take a look at this thread for details. http://www.smcars.net/forums/renderi...ighlight=derpe

p.s. don't paint it, it looks great just like this! I had so much trouble with painting my model...

I'm doing it! I did a one to one scale that I posted in work in progress. 1966 bus. I always wondered how to get a real model made and now I know. Now I need to make the perfect car! Wish me luck!

Update

Saturday, I've received my second Modell, much better quality and it will get painted in some months, too (At the moment, there are just two layers of paint. A filling one and a black one - just to see the lines better)

It weights about 750g and it's also 32cm long

Love your car. But the Porsche in the background looks good too! By the way, the badge says "Caipirinha GT" not Carrera GT. Very funny. I would like to have a real model of my cars too. How much did it cost this time, or was it free again?

PS: If the GT is your car, you have to marry me!
