Cartoonish "Rice" - SpeedyMotorCar
Asked about whether 'toon cars were ok on the general forum, and got the thumbs up - so here it goes.
Early test render (WIP render to test exported model) - http://www.renderosity.com/viewed.ez?galleryid=617421 Later test render - (First bugs sorted out - no UV maps on certain parts - shows extent of interior detailing) - http://www.renderosity.com/viewed.ez?galleryid=618942 Final render (UV maps placed where needed, otherwise done with a fairly quick lighting setup) - http://www.renderosity.com/viewed.ez?galleryid=622686 Modeled in Wings3d, rendering performed using Bryce 4. Also if anyone's interested this one's a freebie available in .obj format. So if you think you can do a better render or come up with better body art - feel free to have at it. http://www.angelfire.com/il2/insig2/FreeDL/page02.html --- edit --- Pics now attached as per admin request... However, I'll leave the links in case the images here glitch out in the future. --- edit --- |

Cartoonish "Rice" - SpeedyMotorCar
One thing though... The "Gimpy" isn't the same car as the "Speedy". (It was meant to be a quickie car that could be used as traffic filler in a render.) Scroll down to the bottom of the download page. LOL... You'll see that "Speedy" is a completely different model. Speedy has a lot more too it.
