Ohh okay, well thats a good way to go, I export stuff from AutoCad and alias to render stuff all the time, Amazing job! Looks real, and accurate.

Hey NE nice to see you still around here , about the clamps yeah you're right about that, but due to lack of time and reference pics i left them like that, you sharp eye still works perfectly

For tire thread, I model details. See my website for a tutorial I wrote about it. For tire sidewall, I always use bumpmaps.
