Exclamation Viewport glitch

I just installed Rhino 4.0, hoping to (at long last) realise my dream and learn NURBS.

But when I fired it up, the viewports randomly became black and displayed glitches.

Graphics card is Geforce 7900GS 256MB slightly overclocked by BFG tech.

I'm also running on Vista Ultimate 32 bit, and I've heard that Vista causes some issues with the OpenGL in Rhino.

So how can I fix this glitch? I'm not particularly in a mood to install Windows XP -___-"

Have you tried to update your graphic cards drivers?

Maybe you shouldn't overclocked your card.

The graphics card was overclocked by BFG tech, which is supposed to be quite a well known graphics card supplier. And it was only very slightly overclocked, and had never displayed any kind of artifacts in other programs such as 3DS Max, Maya, and ZModeler.

When I tried updating the driver, it says, "The best driver is already installed" or something... so I guess it is all right.

So I still don't understand why Rhino's viewports are screwed up.

Maybe I should try updating Rhino..

I don't think there even is a Direct X setting within Rhino.

Thanks for that link
I downloaded it and installed it, and it fixed all the viewports like a charm. But now all the background bitmaps look inverted (upside-down). Any ideas why that happens? Of course, I could just fix it the "cheap" way by rotating all of them 180 degrees in Photoshop or something, but still...
