    Custom Rat Rod ('29 Chevy)

Been a while since I've posted any modeling stuff on here, so thought that I would share my latest completed work.

This is my Custom Rat Rod, based on a 29 Body. Trees & Bushes are from various free internet sites; and the building is Dosch Designs, the rest is mine.

    Hope you all like it.

p.s. oops.. the "Suspension Rig" is originally from here edited a bit by me. Thanks to the creator (sorry, I don't remember the name).

nice work man, i think the only thing i could comment on would be that i thought the tyres could be a bit darker. but hey i wouldn't say no to it being parked in my drive-way.

    cheers

Very good job, I liked the painting of the car, I just think it needs work but the detail of your headlights.

I would like to make a chevrolet between 1928-1935, but found no blueprints

    Greetings!

Thanks cerbueno... could you clarify your post a little bit??

What do you think needs work?
What about the detail of the Headlights?

The paint was just a quick copy from an old Nascar Design that created several years ago and was a lower resolution that I just sized up temporarily. It certainly could be reworked to be a better quality.

I did not have blueprints. There used to be an "incomplete model" on here of a 29 chevy pickup cab, that was used for reference along with tons of hotrod/ratrod photos to come up with what is basically my own design loosely basaed on the '29 Chevy Cab.

Thanks! On the tire, the sidewall is bump mapped, while the tread pattern is fully modeled.
Currently working on a '34 Ford Roadster, check out it's thread if you're interested. Have had a busy weekend, but should be back to modeling on it in a day or two.
