    3DS MAX

    Nissan Skyline Coupe V35 Nismo

    3D Software: Max12
    2D Software: Photoshop CS
    Rendering Engine: mental ray
    Working Time: 3,5 months

Hello, I'd like to introduce You a vehicle which I made recently and have been creating for last three and half months. I believe the work is not over yet, 'cause I'm going to manage the "camera match" stuff witch I'm not familiar with yet, so an update with an outdoor renders is possible.

    Cheers,
    kosi

    Awesome renders man!
If i were to suggest areas where further improvisation can be done -
    1. The area between rear tyre and tail-light (referring to second attachment)... The render reflections suggests the area is concave..
    2. Indicator lamp near front tyre doesnt have any depth perhaps material with bump or translucency should fix it?

Looking forward to a realstic camera-matched final render..!

    Cheers,
    SamIAm

@SamIAm1: I fixed the place which you described, and "Thanks" 'cause that was a valuable notice.

Credits go to Alec Moody who shared the hdri and backplates for free.

@vladivpg: I'm not fan of Nissan neither. This car caught my eye and I haven't seen many (actually just one Skyline Coupe as CGI, but still not this very one) so I decided to create it

Uhm... and this is one thing that brought me here for the last time and that's presentation I created, and here it is:

I think you've done a great job modeling the car and the video is great too I have my model that I am working on right now all rigged and ready for animation but I am having huge problems with the rendering that's why I cannot make a video yet. And let me try to give you an advise even though your work is quite awesome the way it is now I think you should try to push it a little bit more. I mean that there is tons of CG cars on the net which look in most situations as an ordinary fotographs of a real cars after reder them with HDRI reflections and so on ( which of course is hard enough to do ) but by my oppinion the good CG car design is to find out the imazing feature of the model that you are modeling or this camera angle from which tha car looks unbelivabelly nice and to base all your work around it. You said that you have been looking to model a car which is not so common on the net so that is kind of what I mean. Keep it up and Good Luck

I think I know what you mean and I tell you I did my best to reproduce its beaty (which many doubts it), but anyway it's still nice thing to hear that someone appreciate it as it is a result of many many many hours of modeling, texturing and a few other "...ing" to be arranged. I got your advice, I'm going to pay more attention to this aspect in the next project. Cheers.
