Great Stuff Skobe, very criative buddy, I enjoyed it.
There are three types of people in this world: those who make things happen, those who watch things happen and those who wonder what happened.
Ha, nice... It'd be a scary ride for me. As for Jet engines, It would not be sucking enough air since cab blocks it.
I was thinking the same thing as Equinox. The engines won't be getting any clean air at all because of the very poorly aerodynamically designed cab, lol.
3d is about making imagination come true, not about photoreal renderings and precision in modeling
“I am enough of an artist to draw freely upon my imagination. Imagination is more important than knowledge. Knowledge is limited. Imagination encircles the world.”
― Albert Einstein
“Logic will get you from A to Z; imagination will get you everywhere.”
― Albert Einstein
“Everything you can imagine is real.”
― Pablo Picasso
The public is the only critic whose opinion is worth anything at all.
-Mark Twain
Opinion is the medium between knowledge and ignorance.
-Plato
Knowledge is true opinion.
-Plato
Everything we hear is an opinion, not a fact. Everything we see is a perspective, not the truth.
-Marcus Aurelius
So words of advice, try not to get too personal on this, just enjoy other opinions. Eventhough sometimes opinion could boost your imagination![]()
I love this funny project and the related posts. I've to say thou that the vibrations only of one of those turbojets would destroy the whole Suzuki chassis in a few seconds. But i love this project the same , it's well done and cool even if never could work IRL![]()
i dont mind or have anything against your opinions, i just cant understand why most people first see little imperfections and dont see beyond them (maybe not in this case, but i saw that happen in other posts)
- criticism is more than welcome, and it helps to develop an artist, but what i want to say is, who cares if engines dont have enough air , there are big jets on small van, uuuuiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii
thank you guys for your likes, NEVER GROW UP
I don't understand why you really get upset over this... Maybe English isn't your strong language.
We did not mock at your work or say anything bad about it, as matter of fact We all liked your imagination. But we also want to express our opinion as if this did really happen in real life, then the result would be blah blah. That's all. Maybe posting you work here isn't good idea for you.
Once again, for the last time... Your work is nice.
This is a public forum, where people post their opinions. Your taste is different from everyone elses taste, so you need to accept that. I thrive on small details. That's what pushes me to be a better artist every day. I tend to look for functionality, mechanically correct things, because those are things I like to create myself. If you don't like our comments and criticism, it's time to keep it to yourself and not post it here. Yes, imagination is an amazing thing, no one said it wasn't, but don't act like it is what makes the world go round (maybe in your world, but not ours).
i quote : bla bla, i saw that happen in other posts,
- i was not talking about my post, apparently i expressed myself wrong way, apologies for confusion
@ falango: i said also : criticism is more than welcome

@skobe
well, i think it's because of that Einstein,Picasso quotes you posted and i dont find any post criticising your work.. all i see are people trying to give their opinion on what could happen if it's IRL..
btw, great imagination on that jet fueled multicab u made.![]()
i agree with you 100%, its just that i didnt know that people like to pay attention to small things, (as falango says: I thrive on small details), and i expressed myself a bit wrong, and rest is a history, no hard feelings
the suzuki was first planed to have dervent 5 WW2 jet engine and just half of the cabin, maybe it will one day

well.. what u can try is moving the engines a bit more to the sides where they could suck air for thrust and add some wings for downforce to make sure that the cab sticks to the ground. hehe
i think the third of a fan blade is in free stream, the longitudinal axis of engine is in line with shock absorber/ leaf springs, and engine is tilted 3 degrees down on 3 engine mounts
probably there should be a wing, but i hope that weight of engines in line with wheels and thrust of tilted engines would keep wheels steady
