    Creating headlights BMW Z4

    Guys, how do I create one such lights ? Need a lesson or a video tutorial !

    Well I would propably use bend modifier. It's a really good thing to use with round objects! Other is just modeling skills.

    Well I made a quick tutorial on making angel eyes! I'm not making it very detailed and actually I didn't include anything about modeling it. If you need, I'll add that.

    At first make a little part of the angel eye like in the first picture - you can add some other parts too. The two selected (red) lines have to be on one axis (planer it).

    Then copy it so it would be exactly next to the first one, set the number of copies at lets say 80 this time. You can set them as many as you need them.

    Attach all copies to the first part and weld them all together. The result should look somewhere like this. Make sure to don't weld more then you need.

    Select the Bend modifier from the modifier list. Set the bend angle as big as you need it - this time somewhere around 300°, if you want full round it will be 360°.

    The end result looks like this. Not perfec of course but it anly took 2 minute for me to make it.
