Moebius...Course I consulted the manual!! I'm one of the few who reads the manual before playing

ProStreet's customisation works by having all the custom parts and vinyls, ect, in the game and not downloaded or custom made, so technically it's already on everbody elses machine...

Forza 2 did it fine, so why the hell can't I in ProStreet?! They made a big deal about sharing blueprints of cars you make with the world...What the hell's the point if you can't take it online?!

I figured it out... You can use your Career cars online... Phew...

Speaking of Career, I'm 5 races away from defeating Ryo and Dominating every Race Day.

Speed Challenges were tedious I thought, especially when your weapon of choice is the Zonda F!! The cars I used for the different events were as follows:

Grip: Lamborghini Murcielago LP640
Back-Up: EVO X
Back-Up's Back-Up: Camaro Concept

Drag: 2007 GT500
Back-Up: Pfft, no need for a back-up when you have a GT500 that wheel-stands the entire 1/4 mile!!

Speed: Zonda F
Back-Up: Nissan GT-R

Drift: AE86
Back-Up: '65 GTO

Well, I've just 100% ProStreet and I must say, it has been one of the most entertaining and atmospheric racing game I've played in a long time. I've saved most of my cash and have bought a few cars that I've wanted and now have 11 in total, all upgraded to the max.

I'm now gonna work on doing a Halo skin for a Honda Civic I purshased that does awesome FWD doughies I tried picking a better car, but the Civic is the one with the most blank space on the side. I'll post a screenshot once it's finished!!

Again, if anyone has a 360 and a LIVE account, swing us a Friend's Request and I'll give ya a race or two!! My GamerTag is DrFe3lgo0d

tomsullivan: The Murcielago blows most off the line usually, is very sturdy around corners and outruns almost anything on the straights apart from the Zonda F... All my cars have been fully upgraded though, so that could have something to do with it!!

thats weird, cause i had a fully upgreaded lambo, and i couldnt get past the last couple of races to get to the grip king, but the GT did it fine.

but my GT is king all upgrades to the max with L4 tires.

It took me a while to get used to the Murcielago 'cos I always like to slide around corners in most driving games, however in ProStreet, you really have to try and glue yourself to the ground around corners, which something the Lambo does extremely well.

Have you enjoyed the game so far tomsullivan? And how far through it are you?

Ohhh man!! The ONLY reason I managed to the get the Zonda was I got extremely lucky and picked 2 Free Car tokens when I one 2 Race Days

Just wait 'til you get to the later Speed Challenge races You have no choice but to switch to bumper-cam and drive 'cos that's the only way you're going to make it!!

Hey guys, you look to be pretty fan of this game. I've bought NFS MW and Carbon for PS2, I was really disappointed by Carbon. Do you think this one is worth purchasing on PS2 ?

Currently project : Lamborghini Murcielago LP640 Roadster
Previous : Marcos 1800 GT (60's winner), Ariel Atom II (LightIsRight winner), SuperSeven (WZA #4)

another 300k damm, but i do have two more kings to take down so its good.

there are a couple things i dont like with but over its great

like on some drag track, they start you car close to the wall or close to the egde of the track so if you get some wheels stands happening, you go off the track and stuff you your time.

but other than that i have really liked it.

BTW the cars i have atm are

Chev SS for the drag car, it only pulls 7.8 passes but it does the job

Ford GT as the grip car, it does the job well

Ford 03 Stang, nothing specail just cheep to repair

and the drag king's stang as my top speed car. i noticed it doesnt really matter what car you ahve cause they are limited to around 250mph

If you can turn, your not going FAST enough

ProStreet was better than some of the reviews made it sound. Probably because some of them thought it should have been Underground 3 . It's not the best NFS, but it's a 10 times better than Carbon IMO (I still think NFS 2 and 3 were the best).

One thing I don't like is that you can't take a couple tunings for you car to an event. It's really annoying because my Viper (for Drag racing) gets pretty unstable in some 1/2 mile races, but to fix it makes it pretty bad in wheelie competitions. My Zonda (for grip races) is set more for short curvey tracks, but isn't that great for tracks with several long straights (it's still pretty good, though).

I've heard that a fully tuned Supra can get almost 6 seconds in the 1/4 mile. I'm going to have to try that car sometime.

ViperProject: "Like all Need for Speed games, I'll probably get it, beat it and then it'll go to the bottom of my games pile and forgotten. Theres not much longevity to the current Need for Speed games, you just win and unlock everything, then mod a few cars the way you like them and thats it."

Can´t agree more... NFS: Carbon made me feel that way (even more than NFSU and U2). However can´t play GT4 since I don´t have a PS2 (and won´t get any gaming console since rFactor is THE game for me... I want a G25 so bad!).

Sorry for my bad english
