does this game employ the "Starforce" copy protection like GTR and GTR2 do?

if this game is easily moddable, it may be a candidate for the game engine of choice that I mod out (course, whether it can have characters, character animation, and scripted sequences is also a big issue...)

no its just a sim racer,it has no protection.and its not moddable.Well it is but its only in its beta stage still and the developers are not allowing open modding.
I know of a few inside projects that are going down though new cars and new tracks.

Greatest game ever, been playing for nearly 4 years now. S2 account username is KanseiDneova. I pop out once in awhile, mostly racing AI's with formula one bmw. Great thing about LFS is- you don't need a super computer to play.
