Codemasters just released demo of new Race Driver.

Downloaded, played, searching for parts of my jaw on floor
Game has incredible fantastic car psychics. Graphics like from Colin's Dirt with ProStreet smoke included in Gran turismo-Need for speed, world hybrid
Demo has 3 Tracks and 3 Cars (Mustang GT-R, Nissan Silvia, BMW 3)

The best thing is replays. It looks like very good movie You just have to see it!

I think that game will be great success. Race driver wasn't like that to this day I like it very much

About framerate:
In my PC (C2D 3.0GHz, 2GB DDR900, GF8600GT Palit Sonic+ OC) it plays very smooth (on high details at 1024/768 )

Yep tried it out the other day,i was a bit meh about using the same dirt interface and stuff but the game itself is great,graphics are awesome was running everything on ultra without a single noticable framdrop. at 1440x900

The damage is the greatest thing.i love how the body warps and i had a pretty bad crash with the mustang in which i was going pretty fast down the hill and turned,i then went into about 30 flips and smashed to pieces and hit the wall on the way down,i was totalled after that .Gunna be great when it comes out,i will be sure to grab a copy off the shelf.

I downloaded it on Saturday and gave myself 15mins away from GTA to play it

I did think it was pretty cool. It's a very pretty game, like a VERY pretty game. The handling was sorta of like DIRT's in the fact that it's not really simulation physics but still good to drive... Never known a Mustang to do 0-90mph in what felt around 3-seconds, but it's still cool

The only reason I ain't getting this is 'cos I'm still hammering through GTA (jsut hit the 81% mark )... I think the next driving game I'll be going for though is the next Midnight Club, which is due out around my Birthday in September.

Very good game!!! although its still a demo, i find it very good! The graphics is very nice, extremely good fps at 1680x1050 and 8xAA, very smooth!!! I love the physics, its like realistic how the car warps around poles and how the bumper or parts fall off after smashing. The cars look very nice, good details, but one thing i dislike is how the cars are quite slippery when on circuit racing. Also the acceleration is quite fast.

But its quite a good game! I might buy it once it comes out!

Got my copy after a friend said it was horrible. (he has an xbox to my ps3) He's a bit of an idiot so I still went ahead and bought it and have been enjoying it ever since it arrived.

The graphics and visuals are just stunning. I was running a race last night and got up close behind a Saleen and was drawn to looking through the rear mesh and into its engine bay, I completely forgot about the race and slammed into a barrier on a turn.

Main thing to get used to it probably the drift mode, can by tricky at first but you can soon get the hang of it.

Overall brilliant game and great fun.

Just saw the demo of it at my brothers Pc, those replays look pretty cool and theyve included a really nice damagemodel.

i just miss sometimes the posibility to make your car faster with turbo etc like in nfs or gt
