Question Decent PC Driving Games

Hey guys,

I own a Logitech G25 Racing Wheel that is pretty much gathering dust because I just can't seem to find any decent games to play...

I bought Live For Speed a while back when I first got the wheel, and although the physics are alright, I want something up-to-date with decent graphics that a graphics-whore like myself can ogle at... something that'll not only provide hours of fun with the G25, but push my PC as well.

My 360 won't support the wheel, and since I have a 360 I ain't getting a PS3 just so I can use a wheel that is almost the half the price of the console.

Games wise, Catlin's already mentioned that GRID sucks with the wheel, my inner-redneck cried over the fact that NASCAR '09 ain't coming to PC, I've clocked up almost 250-hours of TDU on the 360 so I ain't swapping to the PC for it, same story with ProStreet 'cept a lot less hours, and my general knowledge of video-games can't think of any decent driving games coming out...

Am I the only one who misses decent driving games on PC?? And can anyone think of any that'll be coming out soon-ish??

The discussion of current/future decent PC driving games is open... Go for gold!!

Ive bene playing GRID a fair bit online, and have to say its a lot of fun, even when noobs smack you into the wall on the 1st corner and wreck you. They have a thing on fixing the problem with the Logitech wheel on the Grid forum here: Codemasters forum - Logitech Steering Wheel Fix - UPDATED WITH NEW INFORMATION..
I really dont know of any other decent drving games

I ended up pre-ordering GRID today for PC. It comes out tomorrow... I'm willing to give anything a go just to use my G25 again.

I've heard mixed reports with regards to using it with GRID. Some say after applying certain fixes, it works perfectly fine.

We'll see how it goes anyways...

Well, got GRID today for my PC... or should I say, my G25...

*slaps Catlin* ... sorry, wanted to get that out of the road before I start...

GRID is fantastic... The G25 just adds the iceing to a rather tasty cake. It works perfectly with it. Well, almost perfectly... Me being a handbrake kinda guy, I don't really like the compulsory handbrake button being on the wheel. 'Tis quite hard to hand-brake drift in the drift events as you could imagine.

All-in-all, G25 wise, it took me a while to adjust to using a wheel in a racing game instead of a controller... I just kept having to force myself to just treat the wheel like I would in a real car, and suprisingly enough that worked.

It runs 60fps on my PC, with all the graphics cranked, and oh boy does it look sexy.

So that's my lil' review of a Decent PC Driving Game... I'd highly recommend this if you've got a dusty G25 of your own.

Told ya it was good! The little FMJ's (open wheelers) are good fun to race online, good close racing......until some noob taps you into a wall, or uses you as his brakes!
