Paps, he's put the engine in the rear in the tray. He's got renders of it in the last few pages.

thanks guys, im done modelling for now as I don't have time to model anything yet... I do have a plan for the sides. wait and watch ya engine is in back Paps, like the good Doctor says

I tried to render with lights and flamethrower, but I have a problem because the glow thing affects the flame as well, and since the fire light value is quite high it makes my picture like completely orange, here is a render just before it adds the glow effects. oh yeah modified the fire a lot.. its still not right though

The combination of both effects and green laser make the monster really impressive. But you're right about the fire : it's not OK at the moment, because it looks like the whole car is on fire.

Wow, nice design there crazy 989! That front grill reminds me of the camaro. I know it's not the same as the camaro, but it just reminds me of it, for some reason.
I agree that the flames are a bit much, though.

They remind you of the Camaro because they drawn a angular V just like a Camaro does, I guess.

thanks guys
I forgot to scale down the flame , well, it probably looks like a camaro because I sat down and watched the transformers dvd, then spent hours viewing the special features disc...and seeming as the main robot is a camaro, i started to draw down a vagueish camaro and that is actually where the idea sprung fro, also I did use the 08 concept camaro as bp's

I will see how much I can adjust this flame....also and try and get the glow effect in it

Ah, I guess there is a Camaro influence then

@ tom120934 - Yeah, I guess that V is part of it that reminds me of the Camaro.

man .... im stuck, look when I render the flamethrower on its own, it looks fine(as in not making the image look weird), it is also fine when the lights are on but no glow effect, but when I add the glow effect, and it is only applied to the lights, not the flamethrower, it comes out like the image attached, is there anyway to sort out this problem, also I use mental ray 3ds max 2008 if that helps any .....

I figured it out, everything is a delicate balance, it seems, just adjusted values here and there, although the flame still needs tweaked, anyways here is a render, took 40mins, which is not a good indicator of what the final scene time will be.
