thanks, its not hard when you apply yourself man, but anyways most of you probably want progress on the car, so I decided to tie up the loose ends on this guy, and i didnt like the helmet, it wasnt intimidating enough so here is a new one, modelled much more carefully this time#
PS this is the first character ive ever made

thank you , anyways Max was being weird n i was going to post the problem, restarted max n everything was fine wtf.... anyways I have improved materials on character posed him on the turret, and it is pretty much final,. I did some small work on the car, tried to make the bodywork look like its handmade from steel or something, but hell Im having trouble coming up with a bumper design because whatever I try it turns out drop dead ugly, I mean its not aggresive like the rest of the car, anyways heres some shots of the guy, and screenies of the car....

I was not fan of your work so far, but now, I must confess it looks really impressive. The bladed bumper is an excellent idea, keep it up that way !

thank you man, well I must be going in the right direction then
might modify the blades a bit, I have an idea hopefully it will look good, anyways I did some more work on it, just small time work, but thats probably the last of it tonight, and progress will be slower as I have preliminary exams in like two weeks so Im going to busy studying for a lot.....

I like the ramp of lights. The windshield is also a good idea, but the horizontal middle blade is wavy on the outside : it's too low under the last vertical piece.

You should also take car of the gap between the hood and the fender, it's not that clean.

Good luck for your exams ! But as you know it's not a matter of luck but of 3 things : work, work and also ... work.

PS : When I said I wasn't fan of your work until now, it was mainly because to me, you focused on human modeling and well ... it's just not my cup of tea

@ tom - horizontal blade ? hmm not sure, do you mean the bull bar thing holding the blades?...fixed the hood line, just needed to give the hood/fender some depth. Thank you for the luck, it shouldn't be too hard the exams hopefully, only real problems are chemistry and english lol but you are right just gotta work work work, then sleep About the character I just got really hooked on it, it was so much more interesting than car modelling for a while, then materials and textures kicked in.... lol anyways it will be pretty much car and weapons now until the rendering part comes.

@Dr.Feelgood - the hood fan isnt gone, I recreated the hood and never got round to making the fan thing............check this update though [evil laugh]

@ Nitro-x - Im sure you will find some time for 3d during those three weeks, just study now and relax later thnx

Anyways my car went through Japan to learn the ancient art of the samurai.... it came back with a head chopping 20 katanas, much better than a fan.... to show how nicely it cuts through things, check this vid out

and here is some crazy ass show-off with the sword (dude's been watching a lot of cartoons ) k.on looks impressive

What I meant is : the intersections between the different bars of the windshield grid need work. Keep it up !
