That's pretty good, I really liked the blueprint you used. I can only do that sort of thing with AutoCAD since its really the only system I'm familiar with. Now I'm really nerding out thinking about your project car wondering if you could get it factory backed as a Dodge Stealth with a Mistubishi engine or if it would need to be branded as the GTO. Other than the stickers I don't actually know what the difference between the two cars is besides the bumper logos.

Yeah, that's a good question. Due to the fact the car would have been racing mainly in the US, I would like to run it as a Dodge, and I think the partnership that Chrysler and Mitsubishi had at that time would have made it possible for a joint development. Maybe even two teams, both a Dodge and a Mitsubishi, with just slightly different bodys? The same way that Roush could change his cars from Fords to Mercurys.

Thanks Blacksamurai55. You just have to jump in there and do it. That's all I did. This is just my 4th car. Each one you learn a little more.

I've just about finished all the exterior detals. Next I'll try getting some graphics on the car, make it into a proper race car.

Paint update.
I know the design is pretty basic, but I'm testing stuff out, seeing how it works. So far so good. I'm doing the individual graphics in CorelDraw, then bringing them into Photoshop to layout the graphic design for the whole car, and then bring it back into Carrara to map and render.

The racing livery looks good. Keep it up! You should composite a render of it when it is finished. Something like racing on the race track

Great model and work on details, livery also looks awesome, only have a question about headlights - why are you leave 'em almost pure black? If you wanna see 'em black may be use carbon texture as bump or with small diffuse ammount? Anyway keep it on, good luck!

Resenal, good point. At some angles they look like black holes. I played around a little with it. How does the new render look?
