Yeap that's what I was talking about - like black holes. Now it's look much better! What do you think about visualization? I think it's time to make render with enviroment Maybe try to make fast render using HDRI if you don't want to model your own scene. Anyway can't wait to see new udtades!

    Nice work.
I only think, that hood and roof look a bit to empty. You should add another shape for this region on the vinyl.
    otherwise it looks perfect.

Thanks Lackes. I know what you mean, I played around with some graphic across the hood/top but didn't like it. I'm working on a new design, I'll post it soon.

Thanks for the comments. And, thanks to the administrators for the advanced section. I feel the pressure now.

For those who wanted a track shot, here's my first attempt. (uncharted territory) Don't judge too harshly, I know I have to fix some things. I don't have a driver yet, still playing with the lighting, and I have something stange going on with the front windshield. But comments/corrections welcome.

For 1st test pic it's really good! I think shadow under car must be darker - now it's remind me in game picture. But anyway keep it on and you will get nice render in the end!

I went darker in the shadow, and I put the window net up. (forgot in the last image) Still working on a driver.

Here's a different track shot with the other car. I'm liking this one better, but still some work to go. I have a driver, but he doesn't have clothes yet.

Render looks pretty awesome, you get a real sense of speed. The car itself just looks a little cartoony at the moment, not sure if its the lighting or the materials causing it.
Otherwise its and a great render!

Yeah, it may be both. I'm going to keep working on it.

I was busy for a while, but I had some time to try another track render. I think they're getting better? Comments welcome.

I was working with some HDRI lighting. Here are some studio shots I came up with.

Hello gsp2002, I wanted to ask, how did you come up with the dimensions and spacing for your tube-frame?

Blacksamurai55, For the tube-frame dimensions, I just layed-out the size of the key elements, like the tires, engine, driver, fuel tank, transaxle (which I misscalculated and had to adjust for later), and then fit it all within the body. Does that answer your question?

What are you going to do with your race once you've finished? Any plans to transfer it into a game or anything like that?
