This wheel was really easy, wish the body was going to be this easy but that's really doubtful.

Nice one, Chris.
You probably have been on this website: Jaguar XJ13 | Sayer's Original Design ? Not the actual car' s blueprint, but maybe helpful ?
Peter
One of my favourites. I was working to find refs and photos.
By the way, i downloaded this blueprint from there for free...

Beautiful car dude...I'll follow this one...![]()
OK, I've been fooled by the inductionsAnyways excellent car choice, I've been fascinated by this car when I first learned about it in a SportAuto (french ed) review. I can scan the article if you're interested.
I'm looking forward to see more progress !

After you mentioned V6 I looked at it again and it seems to sort of look like that, maybe the angle of the screen grab plus I think this engine's banks aren't as narrow as some inline 6's, especially with the twin cam.
a scanned article would be real interesting, the more info the better.

I came across this "blueprint" a while ago. Sorry to be a killjoy but the car pictured isn't the one-and-only XJ13. The pictures were taken of a copy made by Jim Marland of Proteus Cars sometime in the early 1990s. It is pretty close but does differ in a few details. This includes the wheels as well as the body profile.
How do I know? ... I am the author of Jaguar XJ13 | Building the Legend and have been researching the car in detail for a looooooong time now!
However - it might be good enough for your purposes??? If you are making a model as opposed to a real car they could be good enough? After all, when the 1:18 model was introduced it was deliberately distorted when scaling-down to make it look better at that scale.
Good luck with your project.

Yeah, the intake in the middle of the head is def that way. Guess the thinking was it straightened the intake tract, it doesn't look as weird in the car cuz it's so crowded.

You are my hero!
Looking forward to seeing how you tackle the body in solidworks!

Ease up on the praise you guys, I'm getting embarrassed. You may change your minds when you see my render skills which are non existent.

I've only done 2 car bodies but this one doesn't seem too hard. The biggest hurdle is no real blueprints, only photos. That and conflicting information. There are 3 different "basic dimensions" out there and none of them are the same. Like a difference of 11" in the length for example.
I've never gone off a photo either and looking at some threads on here about distortion there are some complex issues. Right now I'm waiting to see if any more info surfaces, it's sort of surprising what's come up so far.
