Ok,first of all the render is not so good....you will have to play with the settings....I hope to see the model finished![]()

this time no fancy screenies just a simple one![]()
modeled lights, added some character to wheels, doors, hood, some windows, still trying to get a fell of a car flow, and trying to like it (and that's not happening very smoothly)![]()
ok,this is some good progress... I am waiting for a refined render![]()
some progressand yet another screenshot

I also modeled this car but I did 2 versions I modified one giving it more of a peformance look like spoilers and louvers on the windows and I changed the hood design and maybe make my own decal design for stripes etc then i will decide on a color and start texturing it.and the other is the stock look . not sure what year I'm going for yet, probaby the 69 since it was the hemi . the 67 was the only year they didn't have parking like ( marker lights) I have a couple more things to do such as the lights. I guess my first question would be what year is you supposed to be? 67 , 68 , 69? so far what you have looks good. I actualy had a chance to see one of these up close for real. what is the final color going to be?

Fear not, for I am with you.
I notice you did your hood different too. I also notice that there is a seperation piece between the side front window and back side window that is missing or have you not gotten that far yet?

Lookin' good Vlad. is red the color you going with ? if you are doing a 68 it is only fair to warn you that the parking light or marker lights depending on what you called them the lights on the side of the car in the front and back yellow in the fron and red in the back are the wrong size ones. the ones you have are the lights for a 69 not a 68 the 68 had small little round marker lights. the 69 had the rectangle (square shape) marker lights like the ones you have in the picture here. FYI

no color isnt final there will be black, grey and one with custom paint, client said its Chevy cuda 1962 or 1963 cant recall now, and there is Chevy badges all over it, but when i was looking in the net there was only Plymouth cuda viable, so in essence i am just trying to match clients car and do some styling stuff![]()
There is no such thing as a chevy cuda there is only a Plymouth 'cuda which is short for Barracuda . like I mentioned before the side lights you have now are for the 1969 model of the cuda not the 1968 one so you might want to asked your client if he has the right year unless he has no clue what he wants. there are also 2 body type they one you have is the Formula "S" with the fast back window as we called them. there is also another body style which I think is call a coup. the window in the back is straight up and down flat . and the emblems and position of the emblems are also different pending on the model. I can't wait to get done with the other projects that I am working on so I can get back to finishing my Barracudas. let me know how you do your head lights because that is a part Im not good at it. and I know I will need help there. sorry for misleading youits Chrysler barracuda formula s if there is such thing
but as i mentioned before i couldnt find one blueprint so base is plymouth any way
![]()
Vlad buddy you did not mislead me because I know the diferent between a plymouth, chevy and a ford or any of the american car manufacturers. I have seen enough of them here in the USA . mainly Mopar (Chrysler, plymouth and Dodge) I have own a couple of them myself. I find it good practice to research whatever I am planning on modeling unless of course you are modeling on the fly . that way I find pictures and other facts about the car or object .I am modeling. If it is a car I usually try to find a little scale model of the car it get more detail that I would not normally get from a picture or reference pictures. but keep up the good work on the Barracuda it looks Great. and yes there is such a thing as a plymouth barracuda .here check out this link you will also see the other body style I mentioned the coup.
