in 3dsmax i think what we are talkiong about is a kind of distance blur inteh reflection that is really strong

The civilian versions of the cars do have subtler reflections. but not the military cars they had the coat of anti rust premier rather than a paint.

Hi all

I've been following this site for the past week, as I would like to start modelling myself and don't have a clue where to begin :mrgreen:

I think the model (Willy) looks really great, but as a comment to the last test renders: Aren't the tires a little shiny?

Otherwise: I hope I'll just be able to model something half as cool

dude that is sweet, i own a 1946 willys cj2a and ive wanted to do a willys in 3dsmax, where did you get the blueprints?

Hmm, i really like this car,
but i guess there is a fault on the tire profile. If you look at the front right tire, seen from the car, on the top of the tire, it seems as if the profile goes into the inside and on the side of em, it looks as if the profile goes to the outside, hope you understand what i mean.
Is it wanted, that the slice is just that little transparent ?
