1998 Citroën Evasion 2.1 TurboD Arndt

    Hey there,
    this is my new project:

    http://www.abload.de/img/lwo_eva3mekb3.jpg

    http://www.abload.de/img/lwo_eva_wire29jtq.jpg

The Studebaker is finished since some months and I made some new versions of my Méhari. Both threads are closed, so I can't post there.
You can download both at http://wr2forum.forumprofi.net > Forum > Modding > Triumph-Ator Addons

Back to the Evasion. This car teached me modelling from scratch. I wanted an Evasion in WR2 but I had no model. So I tried my idea how modelling could work and it worked.
This version here is now a remake with better quality (polyplacement, chamfers,...).

It looks great mate! Just the gaps between panels seem to be a bit too wide. Also try avoiding triangles in the mesh. They don't really affect low-poly meshes but still the mesh looks better without them.

PS You can use forum's attachment system under Advanced post options.

Looks good, some weird polyplacement above the front fender where you got triangles but rest looks nice.
Quite unusual car being modeled, but it's good thing only. Great to see something that never has been modeled before.

@Klobsters: Thanks! Those gaps will be filled with 3D doorlines like EA does it for example, not only a black line
Thanks for the tip with the triangles.

@johnas: Thanks to you, too. I don't know what happened at the fender, but knowing me there is a reason
btw I model it precisely because it's unusual. Why make a 50. BMW M3 or Audi R8? I like underdogs .

However, the wheel is done. 2022 polygons.

Gotta agree with the others, its great to see unusual cars here on the forums. Nice job!

You should extend the edgeloop running above the front wheel into the door handle area and the headlight though, you will get a much better reflection flow if it doesnt end in the middle of the fender, and these additional 10 triangles are well invested there,

Pls give us a wireframe of the wheel, too!

@schaefft: I don't understand 100% what you mean. Maybe you better send me a PM in German

Some progress. At the moment it's hard to find time to model because I have a new girlfriend. Sadly she drives only a Ford Mondeo, not a Mustang IV GT

Hi, it's nice to see more MPV for videos games ! Your mesh looks god, only the default showed schaefft, also i would add a bit more polys at the rim center

@Mad_driver: IF I ever finish it lol. I'm so damn slow -.-

Some ingame pics with Mille Miglia Chronos rims my dad has on his Evasion. Center of stock rim is changed, too. The interior and some exterior parts are still missing.

The last pic shows my old Evasion model. It's the first thing I ever modelled from scratch so it's pretty ugly .
