    [rFactor 2] - CTDP International Formula Masters [IFM]

    Hi guys,

    just wanted to show our current project we use to test out the rF2 modding basics. It's called the "International Formula Masters". Sadly the series died after 2009 but you can find a few backround information here:

    International Formula Master - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

    The car is almost finished and ready for bringing it ingame. Basic physics are already done and we will do more physics and texture work in the coming weeks. Here are a few shots with baked AO shadows.

    It's a one car mod with differend liviers for about 20 drivers . As I said, it's a small mod we use to test out all the new features we got with rF2 and new techniques before we start bringing the F1 1994 cars ingame. So it's more a learning project.

    The more I see from rFactor 2 the more I'd like to make something as well for this game. Especially since I have not completed (not released) any mod for the game yet . I'm not an interested Formula racer but this one looks really good. I prefer well made single car mods instead of loveless mass content.

    Waiting for updates...

    Interesting, Id like to see the driver with helmet. Right now proportions do look a bit odd, the legs seem to be too short. The car turned out great though!

    Thank u for the short video, i think the textured mask above all is a masterpiece. U said u've used something called ''zbrush'', i'd like to create a driver or a woman to put inside or near my 500. Does it work like DAZ 3d or Poser? Naturally i haven't these softwares, but DAZ 3d offers the v.4 version for free in its homepage. Is it a good choice? Sorry for the OT.

    no. it´s not like daz3D at all.
    Zbrush allows you to work like a real sculptor but with "digital clay". hard to explain, so check it out for your self: :
    : Pixologic ZBrush ::

    and once you wrap your head around the new way of how this tool approaches 3D modelling this can be a very powerfull tool
