You can see the projects here: • View topic - Vehicle Picture Post and Commentary. Im using 3D Ripper DX, you can seach on google for getting it but then you take the shot of the car it MUST be direcly on the car otherwice it will look fu*ked up. BUT you need to remapp the whole car again. When you using max you need kam's script etc etc. thatswhy Im using max for scratch and zmod to convert cos that already got that plugin. ![]() [07:46am] Venom: i may be crazy, but not MMM crazy... Well I decided to give another update. Again no wireframes at the moment but I might put some out tonight. To repeat what I said in the first post. This is a Lotus Esprit V8 1997 for a contest I entered (just a small one) at another site I attend. The count limit is 25k and I am currently at a little below 17k So I feel ok. The car has really developed a lot since you last saw it. I'm also sorry that I wont be able to dazzle you with my amatuer renders since the shots I had to post at the other site forbid renders ( since most peopl in the contest cant do it and it would be an unfair advantage, I agree) I hope you like my next step is either to put in the rear engine vents, popups and then the interior. Dont worry about the bad smoothing in areas. I know what the problem is on the hood and the front intakes well.. I was using FFD to keep things clean but I got in a hurry and ended up moving some vertics by hand which lead to that problem. All will be settled in the end

Well I got a bit bored with the Aston and decided to show a bit of my attention to another one of my British beauties. This time it was my Esprit V8. This car Ive remodeled with chamfers like used in the Aston. Ive also went through and really went at correcting some modeling errors I made just for the sake of finishing for the old competition. I'm only showing two pictures for right now, comparing the 25k one for the comp, and the updated one Ive been working at. The new one has an updated interior ( speakers, little details) The exterior has the chamfers I mentioned. Again Its a very sexy car. That is very under the Astons current poly count its 31k. Of course the aston is a lot more complicated of a car so that might explain a thing or two.
