2004 Kenworth W900-L w/ Studio Sleeper
Well, this has been an ongoing project for about 6 months now.. I scratch built the original body, and got the chassis from a friend and a 2006-style interior from a game, and now I started scratch-building a 2004-style interior and I'm going to convert the exterior model from a 2006 model to a 2004 too (changing my pipes, adding a sunroof, adding a peep window in the passanger door, and some other minor stuff)
Whatever, it's done in Z-mod, only purpose is 18 Wheels of Steel: Haulin'. here's the new interior (~10,000 poly right now) http://img261.imageshack.us/img261/4...nitchesvy8.jpg http://img401.imageshack.us/img401/9...lycominbn5.jpg and here's the truck, as it stands right now (2006 Kenworth W900-L studio sleeper http://img518.imageshack.us/img518/5...s500541ph9.jpg (I'm going to re-model the sleeper interior as well) http://img179.imageshack.us/img179/2...s500542fj4.jpg http://img220.imageshack.us/img220/4...s500532jt5.jpg http://img72.imageshack.us/img72/9995/wos500530tm3.jpg http://img329.imageshack.us/img329/2...s500513ds3.jpg It's not super-detailed, I could make it super-detailed if I wanted to, but it's meant to perform well on an average computer in a very over-done game PS I'm new here so don't be too up tight if I haven't memorized all of your rules yet ![]() |

Thanks, the truck is around 90 000 if I remember correctly. My buddy who made the frame gave me an engine with it, a 3406E CAT, but I deleted most of it to save polys, 'cause the game doesn't allow you to open doors and stuff. I just kept what you can see through the wheel well. San Andreas is my 2nd favorite game after Haulin', its tons of fun I been playing for over a year but its not good at all for trucking... If you're interested in trucking, you gotta get 18 Wheels of Steel: Haulin' which is pretty much infinitely moddable, and lots of mods are out for it.

update pic
![]() The wood grain is called walnut burl, go here Exotic Wood Veneer, Vacuum Press Systems, Veneering Tools and Supplies at VeneerSupplies.com and browse through the good, better, and A-AAA qualities 'till you find a pic you like rosewood is nice too for dashes I'll see if I can find a front shot of the truck already posted on the net / the air vents are modelled too, but they always seem hard to see with that black color, I gotta figure something out which will bring out the detail better here are some old pics with a lame trailer but the truck hasn't changed much since then http://img518.imageshack.us/img518/1...s500327sp9.jpg http://img410.imageshack.us/img410/4...s500325nm4.jpg http://img516.imageshack.us/img516/328/wos500322di3.jpg this is a nice pic, but it's older, before I painted on the rivets http://img524.imageshack.us/img524/1791/image3zr1.jpg here it is pulling my scratch built wabash duraplate http://img520.imageshack.us/img520/4...s500435mp4.jpg another update pic ![]() Last edited by hardtruckisthebest : 09-03-2007 at 01:46 PM. |
