NEMA Midget (sprint car)

I can't get a hold of high poly stuff, and lost interest in doing the Audi RS4, so went back to doing race cars.

These are raced throughout the US, with 4 cylinder engines, with around 290hp, and weigh 900-1100lbs depending on the series.

Looks like a nice start. Never seen one with the body "inside" of the roll cage though. What series are these from? I'd like to look up some photos for it. Look forward to seeing more.

Where did you find the chassis prints?

Yea, I need to fix the body being inside the chassis.

They are from the NorthEast Midget Association series. I got the prints from USAC's website, under the rules section, they aren't great, but they work.

Here's some pictures...

Well, from the picture of the body that looks similar to the one you seem to be modelling you have quite a few inaccuracies. Getting a good start though. Keep at it. I'll be watching progress.

Really original idea ! I'm looking forward to see more progress from you.

On front, lower part, the curve of the pipes is a bit low res. You should add some rows there to get it smoother.

Oh, like I was told for my Atom II chassis, try adding welds to your chassis. It will really improve the realism of your work.

Oopps...Forgot there was a low poly section, guess I should have posted it there, sorry. Would an admin be kind enough to move it there please? Thanks.

The first hood I kinda winged it, wasn't really looking at any pictures to go off of.
