i think its cause they are used on oval shaped tracks, so to get better grip they put the engine on the inside to put weight over those tires. ![]() If you can turn, your not going FAST enough |

I agree with you, Tom. I was thinking the same thing, but I stop myself on that idea : do they never turn reverse ?

They only race on ovals, and are allowed i 'think' up to 69% of the weight on the left side.
Small blocks you can run up to a 412, and big blocks a 481. And again, they are producing 900-1000hp. Here's a video of them at my local track - track is a 5/8's mile, and they are reaching speeds almost 170 mph. YouTube - isma thompson |

That's a really nice project ! The model looks good, I wonder how it could have turned in high poly, because there is so many details to think of.
Keep us updated, I really want to see it textured. ![]() ![]() Currently project : Lamborghini Murcielago LP640 Roadster Previous : Marcos 1800 GT (60's winner), Ariel Atom II (LightIsRight winner), SuperSeven (WZA #4) See my work and my tutorials on www.thomasbaron.net |
