You're putting a lot of polies into detailing, but the wheelarch looks just really bad. I'd say; work on your polymanagement.

Looking great though

thanks nighteye i gotta get to that wheel arch. done a bit more. lights are as done as i wanna make them. they could be more accurate but i have spent enough time on em. the grille i will definitely fix up as i did it in a rush last night. it needs to be more symmetrical each side of the split in the middle.

Looks good though and love the choice of rims!

Nice work, it's indeed a very high level of details for a low poly model. What's the polycount so far, and what is your budget ?

thanks redstar me ol' mate. the tyres should be quite familiar to you if you think back a while. i will need to create new tyres for this car. tris for 1 tyre are a whopping 43,500 or so tris.
yea the rims are cool aye... they are straight off my last low poly attempt (beemer). maybe i will model some new ones for this car later but yea i reckon they look good on this one too. seems we both have exceptional taste in rims.

@ tom: thanks matey. yip my p count is already climbing high. 11,000 tris for the body only (excluding the grille as i need to fix this up) haven't got a budget. i will just see what happens.

I'm not sure if such a detailed model will be usable in any game, because of polycount. What about trying highpoly modeling ? You're really paying enough attention IMHO.

Anyways, it looks really good. I'm looking forward to see some progress on it.
