I really can`t see how u`re gonna acomplish from this sketch.
According to it , almost entire car should be hidden on the back (I can see only front end on torso).
There`s nothing else i can recognize from the actual car.
So sorry mate , it`s just a robot with a front of evo...

I agree with Marko, you are not showing to much of the evo itself on that concept. On the camaro robot I see the doors, front bumper, rear fenders, some parts of front fenders, and thats about it I think. But anyhow mate, if you play it off and make it a beauty I really dont think any1 will care just as long as you make the animation of the car becoming the robot everybody should agree its the evo transformer lol.

This is only from my point of view. The whole transformers movie is not based on logical parts that can be seen when transformed into robot. They complicated every part so it can look cool.
Everibody who watched original transformers cartoons knows what i am on about.
By the way , great modeling . No critics there.
I`d like to see your transformer both as car , and as a robot , whenn finished

ah thanks guys, ok you win well yer I ll try getting some internal components in there more, but as for body parts, maybe the doors is as far as I could go, the evo's body parts arent very good for incorporating them into the robot part, but I will see where it goes, should be easier in 3d to put it all together better, without such large disproportionalities (probs not a word but you know what I mean) well yeah, I ll get some modelling on this done in a few days or so XD

Great job, the level of details is really interesting.
I'm not sure of using the whole front end of the car only for his shoulders. I'm afraid you won't have enough materials to create a properly sized mech.

now we're getting somewhere with this project Damn it's nice, like said above i really love the place of the hood. About using the hole front for it i think you can do it like this, it has good opportunity's for the arms to come ouf out of the wheelarches, using the wheel as a hinge.
And maybe those hoses (or those things running trough his head) are a bit too much. It doesn't really let you know where of the car it came from. It makes it look a bit more like an alien than a robot, maybe decrease there size or amount. I think it will make it look more transformer!
But one thing must be said, loose that afwul green color, it ruins your whole meg

Thanks for the comments guys
@tom - hmm maybe you are right, im not sure, I will try and move more parts down to other areas of the tformer, might move the hood, but then again I have like the roof, and doors, rear fenders, bumper, im not sure.
@doom - okay I added step by step pics
A - create a torus, delete the selected polies
B - make a clone
C - join these using the bridge tool on the selected edges
D - use the connect tool,
E - Scale the verts of the edges created to give it that dip
then you just gotta make clones and attach them, then use the Path Deform Modifier, where your mesh follows a spline.
@Eric - hehe yeah, I dont know about the hoses I like them, but I just made them cause I thought it would look cool I will decide about them once the whole facial area is done, to give me a better judgement call I guess
anyways I havent got an update, but been messing with graphic sketch style renders
oh I could use these slicks, but slicks on an evo hmmm
