Hello all, this is my first attempt at a car. Was wondering if you all could tell me if I've really screwed anything up so far. I don't really know what I'm doing, just having to figure everything out as I go. If you've got any tips, or help to offer, I'd really appreciate it. I've only been using 3ds Max for about month now, and I've been working on this for a couple days.

The model looks nice especially for a first one, but there's a few things you don't want as a moddeler. That's triangles, squares with angels of more than 90 degrees and pentagons. You should try to make them squares, because the smooth really weird.
Start is good, keep going.

i have to concur
the polies are placed weird causing smoothingerrors
i also see that some faces have too much vertices.
you might wanna look at some tutorials on how they place their polies and always try to use as much quads as possible(triangles are okay for low poly but not for high poly)

Everybody gotta wear clothes, if you don't you'll get arrested

Thank you for the tips. I was getting frustrated with how it was looking.

This is after a couple more hours work. I'm not happy with it, so now that I've learned a bunch more, I think I'm going to start over with a new car, and do it right from the beginning instead of trying to fix this one. The blueprints never did line up, and I had to guess on everything in the top view. This is the latest.
