I'm not really sure what the specs are cause my nerdy friend built it for, I'll ask him for you,
but he's away right now, should be back next week.

The wheel is modeled Dennispls and it has 65 000 polys, thanx for the suggestion
on the render i will tone it down. I'll post a wire of the tire.

Edit: a little confusing but, here it is.

Hey majestic just noticed you're canadian, me too. Great to see a fellow Canuck.
Don't worry there will be a truck in the end. I won't give up on it.

all right this is the big update i promised. This is a multi-link suspension system. It's a combination of a few resourses that i found.
I tried to keep the poly's low because the suspension really isn't visible.

This is just a rhino clay render importing into max right now.

I'm quite satisfied with the way it turned out, tell me what you guy's
think.

Max renders soon.

Your caliper hasn't got a hole for the diskbrake in it.. Or atleast, looks as if it hasn't..

just as everyone has been saying extremely detailed wheels, brakes, calipers and tires. But only thing I see to complain about is what Nighteye was saying the bolts seem too small to be real. But then again this is your baby, cant wait to see the truck, hope its as well thought out as the rest is so far.

The brake suspension wheel and rim look great. As for the the way you're building the car. It's a... new appraoch, building a car around the wheels. Very original. But I to would like to see a truck

Bored to the bone....

http://www.redstudios.net

It looks fantastic. .
All, tire, rums, suspension, ... .
Hmm, could you tell me how many time you spent on the different parts ? This would be nice.
The concept spline looks nice, too ... . You are going to do a great model and you are fast in doing it. Can“t wait to see the whole car.
bd

Keep modeling.

Thanx for the comments bright devil.

Tire: about 1-2 hours.
Wheel: about 1 hour.
Brake: about 3 hours.
Suspension: about 6-8 hours, lots of adjusting, readjusting, modifying, deleting, etc...

Also several hours for rendering, searching for reference pictures.
the total amount would be probably around 20 hours.
However the second time around i could probably get done in under 8 hours for sure.
It's been quite a learning experience.

Hope this helps.

I think it will help,
its just that i mostly have the feeling to be too slow or that I could have done something in less time . But i see, im just in the limit. :9.
Hmm, I will do something on my models now.
bd

Keep modeling.
