Audi TT...Not even worth looking at.

Ok ladies...and gentleman... I decided at another attempt at another car. I was modeling a 300zx but it just became to much of a complication because of errors I made. Well, I decided to follow the tutorial on here from the Audi TT and well so far here are my results.
P.S: I absolutely love the technique used in creating this.. Great job whoever made this tut.

Awesome... I was having a little trouble with creating the seams.. I don't really understand the technique that was used. I was hoping that someone could maybe give a little more help with this. I didn't really understand what I was to do to create the seams. Hopefully someone can help...
Thanks in advance

there are 2 ways to do the seams
one is the way sub suez does it(he keeps the model in one piece and he just makes extra cuts and intrudes the faces where the seams need to be and chamfers the edges to make it look sharp.)
or you can seperate the parts
doors/windows/hood etc and shift drag the edges inwards so that 2 seperate parts have faces on the side.
I hope you understand what i mean if not ill try to show you with a pic

Thanks dennis... Based on what you posted above here is what I came up with... Is this the result that I should get? I'm not sure if these are decent seams.
I had to delete the chamfer that was next to the headlight because it was causing problems. I'll put another one in there once someone tells me that these are decent seams or not...

Why do my edges round off when I apply meshsmooth? I applied a chamfer of 0.1 to the edges around the headlights.. Does it need a larger value? or is there something else i need to do?

I used the shift+drag edges and then apply the chamfer to give it the sharp look...Well, sort of
