Hey.

Well, my third car.
Not finished yet, will try to model interior too.
Also the head- and taillight textures and rim material still need work.

Guess i still gonna have to walk trough some tut's
Ahm, i've been searching around for some tut's or sth. about setting up a nice scene for a car but found nothing?! Maybe you could hook me up with some stuff?

Btw, this is exactly my car in real too. Except for the rims and the missing interior

now c&c please guys

Sorry for my good english, i'm german...

The sharp edge on the side of the car should be much sharper, and more curved.. Also, the headlights look a bit odd for some reason
And those lines on the hood need to be a lot sharper too.. So far from perfect, but hey, it's looking like a 306, and a nice one still!

Why is a low-poly flatshaded screenshot or an "juststarted" hood render getting 10x more replies than my thread?
Don't get it...

It's really kinda disappointing me... :?

THANK'S FOR A REPLY.

The lights (head and tail) are bumped. But you almost can't see it because the material is refractive (transparent) and the lights are not "modelled out" yet. They are empty. That's the reason why they are coming out that flat and dark, you can still see trough them into...nothing yet, the darkness. I guess (as just said) i have to redo the texturing job, i'll see when the inside of the lamps will be done.

Thanks so far.

I agree, the effect is not visible. Don't know the hell why. The amount of bump is 30. But doesn't matter anyways, the lights still look like crap this way.

Maybe because your car is not Mitsubishi Evo or Nissan Skyline?
Well I don't think that's the reason...

Anyways nice modeling you've done. 306 is very nice car. My parents owns 306 2.0L HDI year 2000.
