I know its highpoly, unnecessary highpoly, but i have this handicap that i cant make good textures or leave lovely detail out. Having the car in VC would be cool, if someone would find a guy to do the job.

I agree on all 3 points.

SOMe update, redid the holes in the front bumper wich where before oval and now square as in the last production models. Also adjusted front and rear to get the right shape. Not to forget that i made proper V-shape normals on the door seams!

Wont happen, the front will only get proper 3D lights and maybe eyelids and MAYBE maybe a slightly different front grille.

Here some update, need only to do side mirrors, windshiled wipers and front lights and the extentior is done. When the extentior is done ill texture it and then start modeling the interior. As shown the polycount is now 30 000, to be exact its 30 115, so i better do a low poly interior, something around 5000?

Oh that, around the front and rear screens, well yeah, they quite ugly and a pain to do. :? Maybe they look less bad when colored black:

Front lights are only textures, will make em 3D like the rear ones...

Thanks.

Here some wheel colorings, they partly come in body color. Was too lazy to model something new...

heeh the definition of detail, love the undercarriage especially. I'm not familiar with the car though, have any shots of it, I keep getting the feeling the car was made with perspective picturse but then again you probalby have it right hehe , great work and love the wheels colors.

Well, i used the older model's (wich is a bit more round and quite different in details) blueprints wich i found at onnovanbraam.com, the Skoda 55 Sedans blueprints. Actually im modeling the late 120 one, i got a freind who gots one and i got lots of reference pics from him wich i use to make the details and over and over modify it more to a 120. (ill post the pics on reference picture forum when done with the modeling) The car is ugly as hell, yet i love the technical aspect of the car, its rear wheeled and rear engined, its like a 4door Porsche 911!!! Specially with that VW VR6 engine. For a reason, the Skoda 120 is popular for mighty drift capabilities in small tuner communities in the old parts of the soviet union. Back to modeling aspects, i agree its at someplaces quite off, but well... im kinda too lazy to make it more like the real one cause it looks enuff like the real one already.

Hmm, that turbopipythingy over the engine there (that blue thing) looks more like a hose than a pipe, try making it rounder, like an O, not an (__)

The "shouders" - part under windows isn't flat, it should be "bent-in" (sorry bout my czech english)

I like the rims painting, good idea.

Well I guess you'll just wake him up now, won't you?

I know, i needed to flatten it a bit cuz it wouldnt have fitted under the hood othervise. If id make it a smaller pipe itd look again too thin, so it needs to stay as it is now.

Erm, i got tons of pic refpics, and it isnt bent in. :? yet the shoulder line is somewhat too low, ive moved it a bit higher and in the next update youll probally be satisfied with the shoulder area when you see it.

Very nice work (as usual)! This car would look killer in GTA:VC!
