Sure, youll just need to wait that i finnish it. Though, isnt Carma2 Carmageddon2? that old old violence driving game? :? If it is, i hardly can believe this over 30 000 poly car could run in that game even when a big part of the polys would be cutted. :?

I dont have updates for now since my poopy zmod wont map stuff propelly, the mapped stuff wont show up in UV mapper so i guess ill make the wipers now instead mapping the 3D frontlights....

yes Carma2 is that old Carmageddon2 racing game, we at http://cwaboard.com (sites down right now, having server problems)
have found a glidwrapper program that make
it so the game can support 10,000 poly cars and higher! so all i would have to
do is lose the hoses and "useless" 3d stuff and then attempt to import it into
i'll keep you updated once i get the car

also, you dont need to finish it, the state its in now will be just fine, (lesser detail)

Well it can work, since the body itself is only was it... dunno 2000polys? :?
Do you need an interior too :?: I can chop the car into 10 000polys easily. If u tell me it doesnt need an interior, i can start making the lowpoly version right away. But please remeber, i wont allow you to edit as you wish - no carma like spikes or cutters or own skins or anythin :!: Oh and what is the texture size that carma2 can handle?

i would prefer an intiror , really low poly will work just good textures
are what make Carma2 look good...

as for "moddin" it i had no plans at all to any "carma" junk to it, the only
realsion i model in C2 is so i can model, i dont like Apoc cars

as for the "no skins" i dont really see why not, its not like im going to ruin
it or anything, i would prefer to make it look more racy (racing skin)

textures... C2 Can support 256x256,
i will have to make a low res version for the slower computers if thats ok

K for an interior youll need to wait some more and i still have this issue with the UVmapper not working propelly.

Well i think you wont be able to do any racing skins on a small texture like 256*256pxls where all the light, brakedisk and intercooler textures take so much place already. :? And itd look bad on a small 256*256 texture anyways. This aint a race car after all. :roll:

well noted, but UVmapping is mostly used for parts that arnt seen fevry often
C2 can support up to 100 sperate textures so skinning a car for C2 is really
Diffrent, (each part /shoul/ use its own texture) so the fender should be its
own, the door.. ect, ect... and theres a really great chroming effect so you
could make the whole body chromed if ya want...
skinning a car in C2 is special (about the break disk's the ones i attached
look really good ingame

"this aint a race call after all..." i still want to skin it

as for that pic i posted (link of GT500) all the body textures are 256x128

If you cant leave it doing own skins i cant give ya the car. :roll: Why i dont want others to make skins on my cars? cuz they wont be like id like em, and i dont like rally kind of skins cause they ugly imo. This car is a simple brutal machine, not a nicely decorated barbie car.... SO thats why only colors like red, blue, yellow and black would be aproriate on this car.

I see your point, (rally skins do suck :lol but i wasnt planning on a release for the skin(s) i made,
for my own personal use, and them again maybe if you like them we can go
from there... but if not i'll just run people over with it :twisted:

One last thing, not sure if you know this, but C2 has the option of double
siding polys (not usefull for skinning just appearance) so with that inmind
it should be very Easy to cut it down to around 10000+?

OKidee, my and apex conversation bout the convertgin thing has moved of to PM (just letting everybody know ).

Now my zmod works again and ive done the frontlights and some engine assortment and minor stuff.

Fixed the pillars sharp line, still need to do the shoulder - its a bit time consuming since i need to do new polyrows from scratch (zmod downsides).

Made also eyelids, me thing black looks betha; also did new front.

I'd love to see this car in Carma2, i enjoy the actual game (even tried to model for it but with no luck). The car looks sick, tuning a ex-socialistic sh!tbox is a great idea (i have a project with similar philosophy), reminds me of Lotus Lada i've seen in Top Gear. Keep it on man.
