Peugeot Contest '04 : The Rain Knigh's Entry : 308sw Concept

hi guys. Wanted some feedback on this.
Entirely modelled using Rhino. Rendered with VRay in 3dsmax 6.0.
total 847 000 Poly. Rendering time : about 6 hours for each pic.

The new Peugot concepts aren't really my taste + their style of bodywork...but this....this is just GREAT!

The new peugeot are not my taste either :lol: .

That's why i've turn what's made me sick into nice things (for me), like the form of the airintake of the 407 makes me sick. I gave mine one agressive and not only happy face. The headlights are more aggresive, too.
I think today peugeot are structured enough. That's why i used sharp lines.

The front reminds me of a Renault Clio and the whole car just haven't got that "Peugeot-Look", but otherwise, really nice model

Could you explain what is not peugeot to you ? Or what it is in general ?

Awsome work man, I love it!!!!!!!!!!!! About the blueprints. Did you render the model and then ps make em or did u find a nice way to render them out? Please share.

The blueprints were made by exporting a .3ds file from max, importing it in Plasma, rendering it and saving as a Flash Movie (swf).
Then by opening each view with Flash, deleting some unwanted egdes, scaling each view with another. Finallly export a jpeg or gif images (or eps for postwork in photoshop, like I did here)
It a long way but it gives definetely nice results. [/b]

the 30 finalist projects have been chosen....And i'm not in....
I really do not understand how the choice has been made. IMO half of the finalist are not correponding to the theme of the contest. "Car for 2020" was the theme of the first contest, not of this one...

Check the finalist and make your own opinion...

WTF, your design definately had to be in there. I've seen alot of people making work for this contest and I've seen NONE of them back in the final 30. I wasn't really a fan of peugot... but this... bastards :x
