Hey this is looking great, how far in making this realistic do you plan on going? 3d headlights to be seen in the plan, wheels?

Headlights will be a pain in the ass, but I will make them, yes
As far as wheels.. I might just scan a wheel of my model, but I might make a simple print for it..

Did some more splines yesterday
Imagine, 400 splines, 1-2 minutes each (around 10 hours in total...)
Anyway, I'm at about 40% now I think
Still have to do the side intakes and mirrors though.. Logo's and wipers? No thanks, you find out yourself

Anyway, made a small animation of how far I am now

maybe you can align it and export it to .ai format, so you can render it in photoshop. Will save you a lot of time And the lines look very good....

QTV?

And uhmm.. How exactly did you want to export it to AI? And then again, you will end up with all lines, even the ones you are not supposed to see. So that will only take more time in the end
This is just freezing splines, and render it..

a QTV is where you render out the 'video' is like a render of pictures.. you can rotate the images in Quicktime.. Pretty cool.. I'm sure you've see it before, alot of cars sites have it for their cars.

Well, what I was trying to say, was that you create all four views of the car in LW and remove all unnessecary lines in LW, and maybe if required scale it 2d, and exporting that to some format like .ai/eps/something vector based. I know .eps is available in LWhttp://www.newtek.com/products/light...duct/list.html under modeling tools field).

But if your way works out well, you go your way, but if you're planning on doing more prints, it might save you a lot of time. Plus, .eps files might be more useful than prints for some people.
